Our client is a global FTSE digital and retail business, growing rapidly through acquisitions. They have created a brand new role for a Supplier Performance and Risk Manager to be the subject matter expert and own the global Supplier Performance and Risk Management (SPRM) framework

The company culture is dynamic and fast-moving and not heavily corporate. The company operates hybrid work from home/office.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement Services, this role is ideally suited to an ambitious and innovative professional with experience in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). The business has engaged with a specialist Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) consultancy who have built the TPRM framework and the Supplier Risk Manager will join and own the supplier risk framework, ensuring its effectiveness and implementation are in line with company objectives and ensuring the company is compliant with the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

What will you be doing:

• Own the supplier risk management process, ensure the effective global implementation of the TPRM framework including relevant reporting e.g. KPIs, supplier risk heatmaps, etc.
• Own any third party risk activities related to on-boarding, due diligence, incident/remediation activity monitoring and off-boarding
• Drive continuous evolution of all TPRM processes and ensure compliance with existing and new regulations
• Be the main point of contact on TPRM and establish strong relationships with cross-functional global stakeholders in Compliance, Information Security, Legal and Risk
• Lead projects related to TPRM, for example, system development, best practice, etc.
• Provide training to key stakeholders on the TPRM framework approach
• Global owner of Supplier Performance Management and creation of KPIs, system creation, etc.

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience of helping drive Supplier Risk Management/Third Party Risk Management agendas in an organisation
• Experience of managing changing priorities and ambitious deadlines
• Clear communication skills and proven influencing skills, used to working with colleagues across all levels of an organisation where supplier risk is not their “day job”
• Great energy and a determination to succeed
