Because of company growth they have created a new role for an ambitious Procurement Operations Analyst/Buyer. This is a fantastic procurement development opportunity and the chance to be sponsored through the CIPS qualification.

You will provide a range of procurement support services, working with stakeholders and suppliers in the UK as well as the company’s 13 international offices including Singapore and Mauritius.

The company offers flexible working but you will be expected to be in the London office 2 days’ per week.

What will you be doing?
• Support project management and implementation of a new global Source-to-Pay tool
• Provide analytical support (on spend , savings, suppliers’ price, supplier performance etc.) to drive consistency and best practice, using tools such as Excel
• Assist with low value/low risk purchasing projects from end to end with support from the
Procurement team. This will include creating, issuing and analysing Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals, including collating responses and supporting the scoring
• Handle the 3rd party travel booking tool by providing user advice and dealing with issues
• Help to prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports at a departmental
and Board level on areas such as project activity, contracts, spend, budget etc
• Support with contract management by using DocuSign to upload contracts
• Support on contract renewals and develop your negotiation skills
• Carry out Supplier assessment and due diligence as required. Conduct market analysis for specific projects and categories to identify supplier activity, price, performance etc.
• Build and develop effective relationships with key business stakeholders
• Work with the rest of the Procurement team to raise the profile of Procurement and procurement policy, by ensuring stakeholders have good understanding and the correct toolkit

Skills and experience required:
• At least 3 to 6 months’ procurement or purchasing experience in a support role
• Comfortable working with numerical data and using Microsoft Office
• Have a keen interest to develop a career in Procurement
• Experience in rolling out new technology or an interest in technology is preferable
• Enthusiastic, confident and excited to learn
• A clear communicator who can demonstrate influencing
• Proactive attitude with strong organisational skills
• Graduate calibre
